CM Harris is the author of novels ‘The Children of Mother Glory’ (Spinsters Ink, 2009) and ‘Enter Oblivion’ (Casperian, 2011). Her short stories and essays have been published in Oprah Winfrey’s O Magazine, Pseudopod podcast, SALiTmagazine, Harrington Literary Quarterly and Queer Voices: Poetry, Prose and Pride (2019, MN Historical Society Press).
‘The Cost of Glory,’ received a Gold Award for Best Concept and Silver Award for Best Feature Script in the Queen Palm Film Festival.
Michele lives in Minneapolis with her wife, their twins and dogs. She is lead singer of indie rock band Hothouse Weeds and names apartment buildings crazy words for a living at Carbon Creative. Michele is also the author of breast cancer survivor blog Ladiectomy.
